I'm so spoiled....

Now, my siblings will look at that title and say "Duh! We've known that forever!" But I still can't help mentioning it. This spoiling comes from my family-in-law.

I am so blessed to be part of the Bass clan. I have wonderful parents-in-law and sisters/brothers-in-law. I knew I was getting an awesome husband when I chose to marry David, but I lucked out in terms of the family I married into. They are absolutely wonderful! They are so excited for us to have this baby and want to do all they can to help. Here are just a few of the ways they have spoiled me (and baby) as we have gone through this pregnancy.

The Box: My sisters-in-law both have children, and so have collected quite a pile of maternity clothes and shared them between each other. When I got pregnant, I became included in this pile of clothes sharing, and it has been a life saver! To be honest, most of my clothes have come from the big box I was given. I did add a few pieces to the pile (including my mom-in-law buying me some clothes for my birthday), but mostly I have been able to stay comfortable and cute thanks to this box, without spending a fortune on a whole new wardrobe. Thank you Shonda and Raina!!!

Equipment/clothes: Babies, as we all know, require a ton of stuff!!! The list (and the prices) can be very daunting. But equipment also gets shared among the siblings. A swing, baby gym, monitor, bath tub! Plus, my mom-in-law just got us our car seat!!! And then, Shonda just had a baby boy in October, and so I am also getting some adorable clothes for our munchkin to wear as well as some blankets and things she isn't using.

Oh, and don't forget the maternity photo shoot that Shonda did for me a few weeks ago, or the fact that they are throwing me a big baby shower this week!

The list goes on. I don't know how we would be ready for baby if it wasn't for the generosity and love of David's family. We are so blessed, and spoiled, to have such awesome family, and especially to have them so close. We love you guys so much!!!
