Welcome to Oregon....

It's green....

Last week was David's spring break. It was so nice to have to all to myself for the whole week! I got so spoiled. On one of the days, we decided to take a hike through a nearby State Park. It wasn't so much a hike as a nice walk, in the rain. (Hiking is what you do in the snow when climbing a mountain :)). But it was nice to get out and spend some time together. These are just a few pictures from that adventure.

We saw this from a little ways away, and had to get a closer look... there were carnations actually growing out of the stump!

Yeah, green and wet... A good way to describe the great Pacific Northwest.

My sister infected me...

In this post from her blog, Its an Illness, my sister, Rosie Thornock, describes a disorder she calls ODAD or Obsessive Diaper Accumulation Disorder. Since getting pregnant, she has been helping me find amazing deals on diapers. This is the result:

Please keep in mind, I'm still pregnant... with a little less than 3 months to go. And this doesn't show the 8 packages I have hiding under the crib, or the large box of diapers I ordered from Amazon, which accidentally got sent to my parents' house. While I am so grateful to Rosie, and her sending me all sorts of possible deals, I do find it funny that I don't have a baby yet and I'm already fairly well stocked for diapers. Though there are more to come, of course. And the best part? I haven't paid more than 8 cents per diaper for any of these diapers you see, or the ones you don't see. I love couponing!!

And for those who are curious, because I'm bad at this, here is a current picture of me. 27 weeks, 6 days pregnant. 12 weeks to go!
