That is what makes this little video from last night so sweet. It was the first time Eli and David had really had any time together in 2 days. I'm just so glad that I got the camera in time. This little event lasted a few minutes and was so fun to watch.
I must say, after spending a few days like a single Mom, I am soo glad that I'm not a single mom. I grateful that I have such a wonderful man in my life as husband and father to our child/children (in the future--NOT an announcement). I love David so much and I love being married to him!
After this video, Eli started squirming and managed to squirm himself backwards a few feet. And based on what I saw yesterday and today (namely Eli working on getting onto all fours), I think my little boy is going to skip the army crawl phase and go straight to real crawling. I caught him twice today, in his crib, mad, but on hands and knees!

Ha! He's totally cracking up! How adorable! Yay for more daddy time! And yay for hands and knees! He'll be crawling in no time!
(Apparently I love exclamation marks.)
