New Goal

Four years ago I started the most amazing adventure/semester of school ever... I went on a Study Abroad program to London. I loved the experience so much! I was able to travel and see so many monuments, houses, pieces of art, etc. that I had only ever read and dreamed about. I came home with tons of memories, hundreds of pictures, and the goal to start a new hobby by scrapbooking the whole thing.

Fast forward to today. Pictures are still awesome, still want to scrapbook it, but I have barely made a dent in the process. Well, with my new found time to accomplish hobbies and goals, I've decided to rekindle this desire. I mapped it out, and from what I can see, I have about 60 more layouts I want to get done. I may find more I haven't thought of as I go more in depth through my pictures, but that is what I am looking at. Considering that each layout takes a few hours to do, not to mention the ones I've finished but haven't bothered to journal yet, this is no small feat.

So I'm hoping to do about 2 layouts a week. This should allow me to finish in close to 6 months. So I hope to finish my London scrapbook by May 1, 2012. I will post updates here every once in a while to check in. But in the mean time, here are my two most recent layouts, with many more to come:

Once London is finished, it will be time for my wedding.... oy vey!

That's wonderful! You'll be so glad to have that done and always there for viewing in the future. I consider my blog my form of scrap booking. Lame, I know. That's how lazy I am. Kudso to you for actually scrap booking!

I'm impressed... I made Eric a scrapbook for our wedding and have been meaning to update it since we got married - it hasn't happened yet. It just seems a bit overwhelming! Your pages look gorgeous, I am jealous.
