When it comes to running, here are a few things I am grateful for:
1) That I had the foresight to even imagine that I might one day be ambitious enough to make USE of a jogging stroller, so that I bought ours when it was at an awesome clearance price at Target.
2) That I have such an amazing husband who willing pushes said stroller, with 25 pound child inside, on our long Saturday runs. (Because let's be honest, if I had to push it, I wouldn't be able to finish said runs).
3) That my sister-in-law Raina was pushy enough to actually get me interested in running a half-marathon. If it wasn't for her, pretty sure this wouldn't be happening. Thanks Rain!
4) That sometime last year my wonderful hubby kind of, well no did, insist on getting me some running shoes, also on clearance. This time at DSW.
5) That I am FINALLY at a place in my training where I'm not huffing and puffing and dying at the end of every run. I never understood how people could run so far--I had only ever experienced running a certain distance and then having my lungs ache more than my legs. SO uncomfortable and not at all encouraging. Now my body has adjusted/conditioned enough to the point where the reason it is hard to keep running is because my legs are tired, not because my breathing is out of control.
6) That I have such an amazing husband who encourages me every step of the way in this journey, and wants to do it right along with me. Love you babe!

You guys are awesome! It was good to see you on Monday - you're looking really good! Ditto on the huffing and puffing thing. I remember having that epiphany moment once after a long run as well. The human body is pretty darn cool!
You're amazing Em! I love that you are running. It's awesome. I have a goal to run a marathon after each baby... we'll see how that goes. Right now, the baby is making running uncomfortable and I have to stop sometimes in the middle of my run. It stinks.
I am so proud of you! It is fun to share this journey with you! You are doing so great...the good days and the bad days. You're almost there! Keep up the good work....it's worth it!
you're doing awesome! Running feels so great once you're in shape! I'm in the totally out of shape part right now and it really hurts, but I'll get there too. Keep up the great work!
